Comprehensive: Crosstrainer provides the ability to view, create and edit templates for: training exercises, sports, stretching, plyometrics, drills, agility/balance exercises and even every-day activities. They have included a large database, but you can modify these to suit your needs and add your own as well.
Customizable: You may also create and modify templates to track the training variables that you are interested in.
The Template Grid includes the ability to define formulas. Each item in a template is assigned a Row number. You can create formulas, much like you do in a spreadsheet application, to track your progress.
Easy Scheduling: The Schedule Aerobics/Sports window allows you to plan and schedule Aerobic Training, Sports and other activities in a convenient manner.
To schedule an activity, simply double-click the desired day in the calendar. The Calendar allows you to view your Aerobics/Sports schedule and to quickly select a day to view or edit.
Easy Editing: The "This Day's Activities" window displays a list of scheduled activities for the selected day. It is easy to recognize Aerobic Training/Sports activities. These are displayed with a yellow box (strength training is displayed with a green box). To access an item in the day, simply Click it.
When you have added an Aerobic Training/Sports activity to the current day, the associated template is displayed in the Aerobics/Sports Grid.
The grid allows you to view, enter and edit the information for each activity using the templates created with the "Manage Aerobics/Sports" window.
You can also enter items into the grid based on your performance for that activity. If there are formulas included in the template, they will auto-calculate as you enter information.
Whether you're strength training for general health, cross-training for another sport, or bodybuilding to gain mass and definition; Crosstrainer's robust strength training module will help you effectively design and achieve your weight-lifting goals.
Flexible for workout schedules and Muscle Groups: Do you strength-train your entire body? Or do you concentrate on your upper or lower body? Perhaps you only train a specific muscle group? Maybe you define your own muscle groups? Do you execute split training schedules? Whatever the case, Crosstrainer adjusts to suit your workout needs and level.
If you want, you can have Crosstrainer set your goals for you. Use the Strength Training Calendar to track your strength training program, and print the workout sheets to take to the gym with you.
More than just your name: Along with the basics, (name. age etc.) Crosstrainer asks you to enter other relevant information that may be important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
For example, you may enter your current fitness level, body fat readings and your main reasons for using the software - to gain muscle, lose weight, train for sport?

Crosstrainer calculates your estimated basal metabolic rate (BMR).
A caloric requirements frame will let you know approximately how many calories are required per day to achieve your goals.

Progress Graphs - The Progress Graphs window displays graphs of your progress. These graphs include Nutrition, Aerobic Training/Sports and Athlete Information. You can select the graph style - currently supports bar and line charts. Select the type of graph: Nutrition, Aerobic Training/Sports or Athlete Information.
Progress Totals - The Totals window summarizes your caloric consumption by comparing your calories consumed with your caloric expenditures. It also compares your percentage of calories from carbohydrates, protein and fats to the percentages that you selected in Athlete Information.
Summary Box - The Summary box displays your BMR, your current weight, calories expended, total calories expended, total caloric intake and whether or not you had a caloric surplus. It will indicate in pounds or kilograms your weight gain or loss for the day. It will also give you an adjusted weight loss based on the percentage of carbohydrates in your diet.
Password Protected for Privacy - If you wish, you can password protect each athete individually so that their information cannot be seen by others.
Personal Log Book - The Log Book allows the user to enter freeform information on a daily basis. Any detail you wish can be entered and recorded in this section for future reference.
